Shayla grew up right here in the northland and now lives in Overland Park with her boyfriend, Andrew. She loves watching sports and cheering on the Jayhawks, Chiefs, and Royals. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family and loves trying new sports like golf and pickleball.
She received her bachelors degree in Exercise Science from the University of Kansas in 2021. She then received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Rockhurst University in 2024.
